A note from our Pastor
The first thing you need to know about me is that I have a passion for preaching the Gospel and walking alongside people so that they are led to abide in Jesus, become like Jesus, do what Jesus did, and multiply their faith by making more disciples. I believe in the power of God's redeeming and sanctifying grace to transform all people so that they can align their lives with God’s will and purpose for them.
I grew up in Ellijay, GA, and attended a local Methodist Church there. When I was in sixth grade, I professed Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and was baptized. In high school, I began discerning a call to ordained ministry through experiences and leadership opportunities I was given at this church.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from Reinhardt University, and anticipate graduating with my Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in May 2027. I am an ordained deacon in the Global Methodist Church and will be pursuing ordination as an elder upon completing my remaining educational requirements.
I previously served as the associate pastor of discipleship at Canton First Methodist Church, and I count it a great blessing to now have the privilege of serving as the senior pastor at Pleasant Grove.
In my free time, I enjoy running, watching baseball and football, and reading a good book.

Join the tech ministry
Pleasant Grove tech ministry needs your help!
We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with our LIVE streaming worship services. Come and join the team that helps spread the love of Christ to our online ministry.
Anyone is welcome to come and help out. No prior production experience necessary. We will train you.
Current needs: Video Director, Audio Tech, graphics operator
Descriptions:
The graphics operator controls song lyrics and videos displayed on the screens for the in-person service, along with the song lyrics and videos seen on the live stream
The video director facilitates the live streams and monitors stream quality throughout the multiple stream destinations
The audio technician handles the audio mix heard in house and on the live stream.
